The musician, composer, sound scientist, and Nusasonic residency winner explores machine and spirit interfaces.

They fantasize about the meaning of sacredness, echolocate spaces infused with spirits, and beget ghosts in the technology they create. In exploring these things, their liberatory practice uses sound to return bodies to resonance. Incorporating synthesizers, handmade computer programs and circuits, field recordings and clarinets, Madam Data considers these objects to be interfaces with the Divine presence. They work with the sonics of stillness, space and brutal intensity.
