
Born in Brooklyn, NYC, Malik Hall moved to Barbados as a child to attend school. Inspired by the sounds that filled his environment, he began creating music while in secondary school. In 2012, the teenager released the critically acclaimed Oxyconteen, which showcased a rare talent, wise beyond his years. Following collaborations with artists like Ryan Hemsworth, Supreme Cuts, and Le1f, plus his 2015 Prince Midas mixtape, he signed to Lex, releasing the In Permanence EP in 2018. Haleek released his 12-tracker debut album, Errol, in February 2020, again to critical acclaim, establishing a clear new phase for himself.
