The Kampala-based, Congolese producer, DJ, and rapper just released his debut EP, Ku Mwezi, on Nyege Nyege-affiliated imprint Hakuna Kulala.

Currently also the in-house engineer at Nyege Nyege's villa studio – he was a former sound engineer in a recording studio in Goma – Chrisman’s sound is a potent cocktail of gqom, trap, tarraxinha, and Afrohouse. With his first full-length forthcoming on Hakuna Kulala in March, 2022, this former member of hip-hop band Young Souljah Empire may be young, but already has plenty of music experience.
