An ice skating rink arrives at the gargantuan Halle am Berghain, soundtracked by an array of adventurous artists. Bring your skates (or rent a pair) and practice your ice dancing skills to eclectic and free-roaming DJ sets.
Forward-thinking club artists Yoshitaka Hikawa, Leevisa, and Frikimo provide the soundtrack. Warm up with a hot drink and watch the spectacle under a dazzling kinetic light array courtesy of Berlin’s premier light artist Christopher Bauder.
Yoshitaka Hikawa is a producer and DJ based in Tokyo, Japan. A prolific creator, collaborator, and remixer with a distinctive sound, Hikawa has worked with the likes of Swan Meat, Mang, and bod [包家巷], among others.
A regular at Seoul's Cakeshop, Frikimo is a DJ and staple of Korea's underground music scene.
Christopher Bauder is an artist and designer working in the fields of light and installation art, media design, and scenography. He focuses on the translation of bits and bytes into objects and environments, and vice versa.
As a DJ in the underground clubs of Seoul, Leevisa has always had a desire to create art both in- and outside of new nightlife culture; that aspiration was what drove her to make her own music. In the middle of our chaotic times, she began to realise the important roles music can play in sociocultural contexts, and started exploring forward-thinking sounds.
