Drawing on the intensity of Pan Sonic and Merzbow, Tohal Kina shapes raw noise and feedback into precise, emotionally charged forms. His collaboration with Italian sound artist Sara Persico unites his visceral energy with her sensitivity to what lies beneath audibility. Persico’s practice weaves voice, analog electronics, and field recordings into volatile sonic environments that trace the residues of place and history. Together, the duo confront the physical limits of sound while allowing silence to speak through it. After its premiere at WESA, the project will appear at Berlin’s CTM Festival in January 2026.
A Seoul-based producer and DJ whose work spans melody-driven club tracks and intricate experimental compositions, Yetsuby is known for her dynamic performances and richly textured sound palette. She has released on labels across Korea, the UK, and the US, and performed for platforms such as Boiler Room, NTS, and Rinse FM. Moving fluidly between digital art, installation, and live performance, Yetsuby’s sets unfold like lucid dreams, at once playful and precise.
