Beats that call for movement and dreams, a voice that seizes and caresses, a groove from 90s r&b: in two albums, Devotion and Colourgrade, Tirzah, the project led by Tazir Mastin with producer Mica Levi and accompanied on stage by DJ and singer Coby Sey, redefined the contours of a pop with a resolutely contemporary deceptive languor. The Norwegian saxophonist Bendik Giske puts his own body to the test with the technique of circular breathing to draw from his instrument graceful melodies and carnal vibrations. The result: a mutant music full of possibilities.
