The SHAPE+-supported Slovakian artist Lénok weaves a rich tapestry of sound, blending eerie, fractured vocal snippets with digital soundscapes to conjure realms that feel both otherworldly and strangely liberating. Interdisciplinary light and sound artist Veslemøy Holseter crafts immersive, cathedral-like soundscapes that blend harsh noise with driving beats and distorted vox. Synthtati draws deeply from the sublime and ephemeral qualities of natural landscapes, distilling these influences into immersive creations across myriad artistic forms as she seamlessly integrates her visual artistry with an experimental approach to sound.
This world premiere CTM performance, utilized lighting Grinderteeth and set design by Synthati. The resulting whirr of fog and fantasy dragged viewers into a fairytale void: the perfect domain for the giggling, cacophonic beauty of Lénok’s music, leaving us lost in swirling colours born within dying stars.
