Bruno Trochmann explores the drone as both a temporal gesture and a condition of listening, cultivating a practice revolving around hand-built instruments (most notably the rabeca) and the intuitive collage of tuning systems, everyday sonics, and durational texture. Drawing from his background in visual arts and rooted in public education in Campinas-SP, the political contradictions of experimental music are explored through acts of embodied play and theoretical inquiry, informed by ongoing doctoral research in Contemporary Art Studies at Fluminense Federal University.
Trchmnn has released numerous works across Brazil’s experimental soundscape, including recent albums Cão Dia, Cão Noite (2021), TOMBO (2024), and Muitos Pássaros (2025). His soundtrack for Lista de Desejos Para Superagui operates as an extension of his composed environments, where attention, decay, and ecological memory shiver entangled within the subtle urgencies of improvisation.
