From January 28 to February 3, 2013, the transmediale and CTM festivals jointly offer one of the world's most pertinent, adventurous, and comprehensive reviews of the way new technologies and digital culture are shaping our lives.
Entitled, The Golden Age, CTM.13 reflects on the (over-)abundance of music in the modern world and its consequences for individuals, aesthetics, politics, and the economy.
transmediale 2013 – BWPWAP (the acronym for Back When Pluto Was A Planet), explores the simultaneous displacement and invention that takes place in cultural processes mediated by technology.
The Press Accreditation process has closed for the 2013 festival, though limited passes will be available to media with credentials on site.
After succesfull registration, you will recieve a pre-sale printout. This pre-sale printout itself does not grant admission to the festivals. It must be exchanged for a transmediale 2013 + CTM.13 Press Accreditation at one of the transmediale or CTM info counters:

While most festival venues do not have photography restrictions, several exceptions exist. Photos are generally NOT allowed at Berghain/Panorama Bar. We also request that photographers DO NOT use flash in AV performances and screenings.
All video documentation needs to be confirmed with the transmediale and/or CTM press office beforehand. Video is generally NOT allowed at Berghain/Panorama Bar. We also request that videographers refrain from using additional bright lights, or that they restrict these to the absolut minimum.
High-resolution press images of artists/participants, as well as festival graphics are available for download via the press sections of both festival websites. CTM will also provide pictures from the events at Berghain via its press section. All photos are for use as part of festival coverage only, and must be credited as specified.
