From January 23 to February 1, 2015, the transmediale and CTM festivals jointly offer one of the world's most pertinent, adventurous, and comprehensive reviews of the way new technologies and digital culture are shaping our lives. Press professionals may apply for accreditation until January 14, 2015, and are invited to apply for one of three types of press accreditation:
Following approval, press professionals will receive confirmation emails with further details, including where and how to pick up your pass.
transmediale 2015 and CTM 2015 reserve the right to evaluate the applications individually for each festival and to deny requests. For instance, an application for Dual Press Accreditation may be changed to Accreditation for only one of the festivals, and applications to any of the three types of press accreditation may also be entirely denied.
Please note that due to the limited capacities of CTM 2015 venues, CTM Press Accreditations will be limited. For certain CTM 2015 venues, the Press Accreditation does not guarantee entry, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.
The transmediale 2015 + CTM 2015 Press Accreditation grants access to all transmediale 2015 and most CTM 2015events (exceptions tba). Journalists with proven intent to review these special event should contact the CTM press office beforehand.
The administrative charge for accreditations is 15 € (CTM or transmediale) and 20 € (dual), incl. 7% VAT.
Upon purchase of a CTM 2015 Pass or CTM/transmediale 2015 Kombi Pass, you will receive a pre-sale printout. This pre-sale printout itself does not grant admission to the festivals. It must be exchanged for a CTM/transmediale Press Accreditation at one of the CTM or transmediale infocounters. Accreditation may not be picked-up at Berghain, HAU - Hebbel am Ufer, or Yaam.

Journalists with a specific mandate to cover any of these events must contact the CTM press office beforehand in order to arrange access.
No audio recordings without confirmation from the CTM and/or transmediale press office beforehand.
While most festival venues do not have photography restrictions, several exceptions exist. Photos are generally NOT allowed at Berghain/Panorama Bar and Stattbad.
We also request that photographers DO NOT use flash in audiovisual performances and screenings, and that they remain aware of sensitive performance settings (quiet performances, special set-ups, etc).
All video documentation needs to be confirmed with the CTM and/or transmediale press office beforehand. Video is generally NOT allowed at Berghain/Panorama Bar. We also request that videographers refrain from using additional bright lights.
High-resolution press images of artists/participants, as well as festival graphics are available for download via the press sections of both festival websites. CTM may also provide pictures from festival events upon request (please contact the CTM press office. All photos are for use as part of festival coverage only, and must be credited as specified.
