Luz Diaz is the founder of Room 4 Resistance, a Berlin-based, queer-forward collective focused on community-building and creating space & visibility for women, gender queers, non-binaries, trans people, black people & people of color in dance music.

Room 4 Resistance takes place at ://about blank every two months (and also occasionally at SchwuZ). Luz has a background in film, but has been deeply involved in the electronic music scene for over a decade, first as a promoter in her native Belgium, and then for several labels and booking agencies in Berlin. Since 2015, Luz has focused on developing and promoting Room 4 Resistance alongside a crew of friends & resident DJs such as rRoxymore, Doc Sleep, Yuko Asanuma, Purita D and LMGM aka Luis-Manuel Garcia. The collective have brought the likes of London’s SIREN, Warsaw’s Brutaz and Cleveland’s In Training over to Berlin. She is also a resident DJ at R4R and also has a monthly radio show on Cashmere Radio with DJ Doc Sleep.
